Electric Vehicle Charging Pile Solution

With the popularity of electric vehicles, the construction of charging infrastructure is becoming more and more important. In order to meet users' charging needs and provide efficient, convenient and reliable charging services, we propose the following electric vehicle charging pile solutions.

Electric Vehicle Charging Pile Solution

1. Solution Overview

Our solution includes the following aspects: charging pile type selection, charging pile layout and quantity, charging technology, back-office management system, and user payment methods.

1.1 Charging pile type selection

According to the actual demand, we recommend using a combination of DC FastCharger and AC SlowCharger. DC FastCharger is suitable for quick charging within a short period of time, which can satisfy the user's need for quick replenishment of power. AC SLowCharger is suitable for long stay occasions, such as car parks, residential areas, etc., users can slow charge the battery during the stay.

1.2 Layout and number of charging posts

According to the charging demand and the characteristics of the user's car park, we recommend setting up charging piles in the following locations: shopping centres, office buildings, residential areas, petrol stations, etc. According to the number of parking spaces and frequency of use, we recommend setting up 2-4 charging piles at each location to fully meet user demand.

1.3 Charging Technology

1.3.1 DC fast charging pile

We recommend the use of DC fast charging piles with a charging power of 50kW or more, which can meet the user's rapid charging needs in a short period of time. In addition, the charging pile should support multiple plug standards, such as CHAdeM0, CCS and GB/T, to be compatible with various EV models.

1.3.2 AC Slow Charging Pile

The charging power of AC slow charging pile is generally 7kW or 10kW, which is suitable for places with long stay. The charging pile should support standard national/regional power plugs, such as European standard Type 2 plugs, American standard SAE J1772 plugs, etc.

Through the background management system, the administrator can monitor the status of each charging pile in real time, including charging power, voltage, current and other parameters, as well as fault alarms and charging statistics.

1.4 Background Management System

In order to realise the functions of remote monitoring, operation and user management of the charging pile, we suggest to build a background management system. The background management system should include the following modules.

1.4.1 User Management

The background management system should provide user registration, login and management functions, including user information management, charging record query and bill management.

1.4.2 Operation and Maintenance Management

The background management system shall support the operation and maintenance personnel to manage the charging pile equipment, including equipment maintenance troubleshooting and repair reporting functions.

1.5 User recharge

Users can buy recharge cards, which store a certain amount of money, users can use the recharge card for charging, and check the balance and charging records through the background management system.

2. Case Support

Take a shopping centre as an example, the shopping centre has 200 parking spaces in the car park. According to the number of parking spaces in the shopping centre, we choose to set up 4 charging piles in the shopping centre, including 2 DC fast charging piles and 2 AC slow charging piles.

DC fast charger: 50kW, supports CHAdeMO and CCS plug standard, can charge EV to 80% in 30 minutes.

AC Slow Charger: 7kW, supports European standard Type

2 plug, users can slow charge the battery during parking.

The backend management system will monitor the status of each charging pile in real time, including real-time charging power, order records, equipment failure and other information. Users can pay for charging via WeChat or Alipay, or use the purchased recharge card to complete charging and check the balance and charging records.

3. Conclusion

By adopting the above mentioned solutions, it is possible to provide efficient, convenient and reliable electric vehicle charging services. It can not only meet the users' charging needs, but also promote the popularity and promotion of electric vehicles.
