GB/T Overview of aluminum and aluminum alloy extruded profiles for general industrial use

As a national standard for China's aluminum profile industry, GB/T specifies various performance indicators and testing methods for aluminum profiles. Production in accordance with this standard also ensures product quality, and is the basis for establishing mutual trust and long-term cooperation. Let's take a look at some provisions of GB/T 6892-2015 "Aluminum and Aluminum Alloy extruded profiles for general industrial use".

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certification for general industrial aluminum and aluminum alloy extruded profiles.

Among them, the chemical composition should comply with the provisions in the table below, and other grades of aluminum profiles should refer to the other GB/T 3190.

In addition, the longitudinal tensile mechanical properties of aluminum profiles at room temperature should comply with the provisions of the table below. If the wall thickness exceeds the content of the table, the mechanical properties will be determined through negotiation between the buyer and seller, and specified in the purchase order/contract.

There are regulations on conductivity requirements for two grades, 7075 and 7178, and other alloys are also determined through negotiation between the buyer and seller.
